Finnair – From system supplier to partner
Partnership of Finnair and Fatman began in 1998
Partnership of Finnair and Fatman began in 1998 with a real estate information system delivery. During the years, the co-operation has developed in multiple ways to cover the whole real estate ERP.
In 2008 Finnair began to use new real estate management software, which also included safety and environmental management tools. Finnair also wanted to move from several reporting service providers to one single software, where the information would be in Finnair’s possession and control.
Software was desired to be a centralized and automated solution, where information would be saved to one mutual database. This way the required real estate information would be in use of both internal and external operators. The aim of the procurement was to increase productivity and enhance operations.
From software service provider to trusted partner
Real estate management software delivered to Finnair included among other things tools for space and rental management, real estate ERP and maintenance management applications. Later the package was expanded with an application for keeping track of property’s inner circumstances based on wireless technology and a graphic space management.
Kick-off project also included consultation regarding new, more effective functioning models.
