A Fatman AI agent is a specialized AI agent that knows your system’s data and your industry’s rules, such as the IFRS 16 standard and maintenance work. The agent works inside the AI assistant you already use, such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude, and brings Frame’s data and expertise into it.
How does the AI agent work?
You ask, the AI assistant understands, and the AI agent finds the answer in Frame. Even so, the agent cannot reach all of your data directly. Every request goes through Fatman’s MCP server, which checks permissions and provides only the information the question needs. The answer is based directly on Frame data. It doesn’t guess.
What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to business systems in a controlled way. It is supported by Microsoft, OpenAI and Anthropic, among others. An MCP server sits between the assistant and the system: it tells the assistant which tools are available and decides which data the assistant can access.
Fatman’s MCP server is the only route the AI agent has to your Frame data. The agent never sees the database directly. It can only use carefully selected tools, such as retrieving the lease liability for a given period or listing open maintenance tasks, and the server checks every request individually.
